同人誌に対するメッセージをくださり、ありがとうございます！海を超えて本を手に取ってくださったこと、それのみならず、心のこもった感想まで送っていただけたことに感謝します。とってもとっても幸せです！
メッセージをいただき、「日本国外のSSSSシリーズファンは、ショーイベントを体験することが難しい」ということに改めて気づきました。今までの絵や漫画は、なによりも自分のために描いてきたつもりでしたが、そこに「イベントに来られない人が、少しでも当時の熱気を感じることができる」という利点があるのであれば、なおさら描いていて良かったと思います。もちろん私が描いたものは、私個人の解釈を介した純度の低い内容です。ですが、当時行われた様々なイベントの足跡が、誰かしらの助けになっていたことがわかって嬉しいです。
同人誌の表紙に使ったイラストをスマホの待ち受けにしてくださったのも、とても嬉しいことです。裏表紙のグリッドマンは天使に見えるように意識したので、少しでも神々しさが伝わるものであれば幸いです。といっても、なにしろ雨宮監督が描かれた絵そのものが聖典もしくは宗教画と形容すべきものです。私がやってることは、まさしく「写経」です。😆
※写経」とは、日本のオタクが使うネットミームです。原作が素晴らしいあまりに、読者の独自解釈がそれほど介入していない二次創作イラストを描くことを言います。
私にとってのアルバム(…アルバムというには、多大な邪念が入っていますが😅)として作った本が、他のファンにとっても、思い出を振り返ることができるものになっていれば、こんなに嬉しいことはありません。

Receiving your message made me realize once again how difficult it is for SSSS series fans outside Japan to experience the show events. Up until now, I thought I was drawing these illustrations and comics mainly for myself, but if they can help people who couldn’t attend the events to feel even a bit of the excitement from that time, I’m all the more glad I created them. Of course, what I draw is filtered through my personal interpretation, so it may not fully capture the original experience. But knowing that the traces of those various events have been of help to someone makes me truly happy.
I’m also thrilled that you used the illustration from the cover of my doujinshi as your phone wallpaper. I tried to make Gridman on the back cover appear angelic, so if it conveys even a bit of divinity, I’m glad. That said, the original artwork by Director Amemiya is something that should be described as a sacred text or religious painting. What I’m doing is essentially “copying sutras.” 😆
*Note: “Copying sutras(写経)” is a meme used by Japanese otaku. It refers to creating fan art that is so faithful to the original work that it lacks much of the fan’s own interpretation.*
If the book I created, which is more like an album for me (although it’s filled with my own impure thoughts 😅), helps other fans to reflect on their memories, I couldn’t be happier.

收到您的留言让我再次意识到，海外的SSSS系列粉丝体验展会的机会有多么困难。直到现在，我一直认为自己主要是为了自己而绘制这些插画和漫画，但如果它们能让无法参加活动的人感受到当时的一点激动，我就更加庆幸自己创作了这些作品。当然，我的作品是通过我个人的解读创作的，因此可能无法完全还原原本的体验。不过，知道这些活动的点滴足迹能对某些人有所帮助，我真的很高兴。
得知您把我同人志封面上的插画设为手机壁纸，我也感到非常高兴。我试图让封底的Gridman显得像天使一样，如果能传达出一点神圣感，我就很满足了。话虽如此，雨宫导演的原作本身就应该被形容为圣典或宗教画。我所做的事情本质上就是“抄写经文”。😆

如果我制作的这本书，对我来说更像是一本相册（虽然它充满了我自己的杂念 😅），也能帮助其他粉丝回忆起他们的美好记忆，那我就再开心不过了。
